Supercell Pitching Instructions

  1. Locate a reasonably level area that will drain well during rain, if camping in snow level the area. Ensure that the area is free of sharp objects that could damage the tent floor. Ensure the area is not subject to falling branches or rock etc. If you have a footprint, lay it on the ground, shiny side up.
  2. Check where the wind is coming from, face the front of the tent towards the wind. Unfold the inner and spread it out with the floor face down. Peg out the corners of the inner, this is very important, especially if it is windy.
  3. The Supercell tent has two poles or three poles for the EX. Assemble the poles, being careful not to let sections snap together hard as this can damage pole ends.
  4. Push each pole through pole sleeve. Always push, do not pull the pole so the elastic keeps the pole together.
  5. Once all poles are laid flat in the pole sleeves, start on the left side of the tent one by one place each end of the poles into the eyelet. Continue on the right of the tent.
  6. Adjust and tighten the fly in place being careful not to over tighten it. Peg out the vestibule/s, and other points on the fly as needed.
  7. The Supercell is fitted with two, two-point guy cord attachment points on each pole. Peg these out for a tensioned tent and a peaceful sleep. These should be tucked away in the pockets when packing the tent away.
